How We Approach Every Matter
Every engagement at Phra Heritage begins the same way: with a conversation. We do not ask clients to fill in forms before they have spoken to a solicitor. Instead, we take the time to understand who the client is, what they hold, and what they want to achieve — and only then do we discuss which service best fits their circumstances.
Documents are prepared methodically, reviewed internally, and presented to the client for a careful reading before any signing takes place. The signing itself is witnessed in our office and conducted with the formality the occasion calls for. The original is then stored in our secure archive unless the client makes other arrangements.
For ongoing estate planning matters, we maintain contact as the relationship develops — noting changes the client reports and inviting periodic reviews to keep the arrangements current.
Initial Consultation
A structured conversation to understand your family situation, assets, and wishes. No forms, no pressure — just careful listening.
Document Preparation
We prepare a draft reflecting your instructions. An internal review is completed before the document is presented to you.
Review & Signing
We go through the document together, address any questions, make final adjustments, and complete the signing with appropriate witnesses.
Filing & Ongoing Review
The original is retained in our archive. For estate planning clients, we remain in contact as your arrangements are reviewed over time.
Service One
Will Preparation Consultation
An appointment for clients who would like to prepare a will reflecting their wishes regarding the distribution of their estate. The conversation begins with a careful review of the client's family circumstances, the assets they hold, and the considerations they would like to take into account. We then prepare a draft will and review it together in a follow-up appointment. The completed document is signed in our office with appropriate witnesses, with the original retained on file at the client's request.
- Structured review of assets and family circumstances
- Draft will prepared to your instructions
- Follow-up review appointment included
- Signed with witnesses in our office
- Original retained in secure archive on request
Service Two
Estate Planning & Lifetime Arrangements
Counsel for clients undertaking thoughtful planning regarding the eventual distribution of their estate, including consideration of lifetime gifts, trusts, joint ownership arrangements, and the timing of various measures. The work begins with a detailed conversation about the client's family situation and longer-term wishes, after which we prepare a coordinated plan with each element documented appropriately. The plan is reviewed periodically as circumstances change.
- Comprehensive review of family and financial circumstances
- Coordinated plan covering all relevant elements
- Consideration of lifetime gifts and joint ownership
- Each element documented appropriately
- Periodic review as circumstances change
Service Three
Cross-Border Estate Counsel
Counsel for clients whose estate involves assets held in more than one jurisdiction — whether through property abroad, foreign investments, or family members residing in other countries. The work includes coordination with counsel in the relevant jurisdictions, advice on the applicable inheritance laws of each, and preparation of documentation effective across all of them. Suitable for clients with international holdings and for Thai nationals whose families now reside across several countries.
- Identification of assets in all relevant jurisdictions
- Coordination with overseas counsel as required
- Advice on inheritance laws in each jurisdiction
- Documentation effective across all relevant countries
- Available in English and Thai
